Community reports

Reports on this platform are submitted by members of the public and reflect their own experience. They are not verified facts and are not proof of criminal activity. We never describe a number as safe, and we never accuse anyone of a crime.

Your responsibilities

• Only report numbers you personally dealt with.
• Report honestly and do not exaggerate.
• Do not include other people's ID numbers, addresses or bank details.
• Do not coordinate reports or create multiple accounts. One report per number per person counts.

Moderation

Every report, review and dispute is reviewed before it becomes public. We may reject, edit or remove content that is abusive, false, defamatory or unsafe, and we may restrict accounts that abuse the platform.

Verified profiles

Verified means the submitted identity or business information was checked by this platform. It does not guarantee that every transaction is legitimate. The N$250 fee covers the review; paying it does not entitle anyone to verification, and fees for rejected applications are not a purchase of a badge.

Disputes and takedowns

If you believe information about your number is wrong, use the disputes and requests form. We correct inaccurate information and publish responses, but we do not automatically delete genuine community reports.

Liability

NamScamCheck is provided as-is as a community safety tool. Decisions you make after checking a number remain your own.
